Hi, I’m DR. Annie Coughlin, ND.
I’m a naturopathic doctor based in Winnipeg specializing in female reproductive health and fertility. I see fertility as far more than a diagnosis—it’s a deeply personal story and a powerful lens through which we can understand overall health. Fertility is complex, closely tied to hormone balance, metabolism, nutrition, stress, and lifestyle. My role is to help make sense of that complexity while ensuring you feel informed, supported, and actively involved in your care.
Throughout my practice, I’ve noticed a gap in fertility care for women and couples seeking support that is both individualized and educational. My approach empowers patients to take the driver’s seat in their health. I provide the roadmap, clinical insight, and guidance, but lasting change happens when patients are active participants in their care.
I earned my Bachelor of Science at Mount Allison University and completed my naturopathic medical training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto. I am a proud member of the Manitoba Association of Naturopathic Doctors (MAND) and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND).
In 2021, I completed a year-long fertility mentorship—an advanced clinical training designed to deepen the quality of fertility care. This experience strengthened my ability to assess root causes, interpret nuanced lab results, and create thoughtful, personalized treatment plans aligned with each patient’s unique fertility goals.
I’m passionate not only about helping people build their families, but also about educating individuals and couples on how to create healthy, resilient families for the long term. I believe education is foundational to empowerment, and understanding your own fertility story allows for more confident, sustainable decisions.
Outside the clinic, you’ll usually find me outdoors with my husband, our two children, and our dog, or in the kitchen developing realistic, family-friendly recipes. Balancing evidence-based medicine with real-life practicality is a principle I strive to bring into my clinical care every day.
